Nation's Triathlon - 2008

A little less than a month ago I spent my 31st birthday morning at the Nation's Triathlon in downtown DC. Now since I had just finished Ironman Wisconsin the previous week, I had no intention of racing this one, let alone running around with a camera. However, my brother Kevin was attempting his 2nd olympic distance of the season and since I raced the last one, I figured I would take pictures this time--plus, a majority of the DC Tri Club would be either participating or volunteering so I killed two birds with one stone...pictures of Kevin and pictures of the Club.
It was a hot and humid day with the field nearly tripling in size this year, so with a packed T1 and a highly competitive field, the humidity and close quarters would reek havoc on most if not all competitors. On a charitable note, the Nation's Triathlon's charitable partner was the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society which meant a ton of Team in Training participants. All in all, 700 TnT athletes raising over $3million dollars. Simply amazing. (Sidenote: If you're a DC Tri Club member and want to see more photos and download them: click here.)

Which one of these is not like the other?
